Chris Aleman
Chris Alemán is a dedicated dancer and teacher with over a decade of experience in the Tribal Bellydance scene of Mexico City. Her journey began in 2014 under the mentorship of Walky Ardaat, whose influence helped shape her passion for group improvisation and expressive elements such as sword, fan, and skirtwork. She has shared the stage with international artists including Wendy Allen, Kae Montgomery, Wild Card Bellydance, and Beats Antique, and continues to deepen her artistry through training with leading figures in the global tribal community.
For Global Dance Passport, Chris offers a dynamic approach to Tribal Skirtwork — combining strength, fluidity, and musicality. Drawing from multiple improvisational formats including Fat Chance Bellydance®, Wild Card Bellydance, Global Caravan, Salamat Pura, and DC Fusion Collective, she guides dancers through powerful movements that celebrate grounded elegance and collective rhythm. Her classes welcome all levels and invite you to explore skirtwork as both technique and expressive storytelling.
